At the crossroads of rising spiritual darkness and fresh awakening, believers across Macedonia and around the world are uniting in 2027 to pray. Together, we are trusting the Holy Spirit to heal deep ethnic wounds, revive the Church, and draw this Balkan nation back to God. Jesus is worthy in Macedonia.

The Balkan nation of N Macedonia is like few other places on earth, a young country with ancient roots that has been ruled by foreign leaders for millennia. Compounded by 50 years of communism, 500 years under the Muslim Ottoman Caliphate, and 1,500 years of rule by the Romans and Byzantine lords, it is a nation and people longing to be accepted in their identity as unique and enough. Jesus is calling them by name.There are 9 classified unreached people groups in Macedonia, including the majority Macedonian population. Some 8 of these 9 groups are Muslim. Unless something changes, most citizens will never interact with a follower of Jesus in their lifetime, and entire regions of the country are cut off from the great news of the Kingdom. The need for God's intervention has never been more critical.Spiritual breakthrough will not happen by accident—it begins on our knees. In 2027, we are uniting global intercessors with the Macedonian local church for urgent, persistent prayer to lay hold of the promises of God for this beautiful land.

What We Are Believing For in 2027

• A Fresh Outpouring of the Holy Spirit: We are praying for a sovereign move of God that brings spiritual awakening to Skopje and sweeps through every surrounding village.• A Strengthened Local Church: We are asking God to encourage, equip, and empower local pastors and believers with newfound boldness, unity, and resourcefulness.• Open & Unified Hearts: Praying across ethnic lines - including Macedonian, Albanian, Turkish, and Roma communities - for reconciliation, love, and hearts prepared to receive the peace of Christ.• Breakthrough Among Unreached People Groups: Breaking ground through prayer where the church is not yet present, asking the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into every unreached corner of the nation.

Three Pathways to Participate

Whether you feel called to pray on the ground in the heart of the Balkans or intercede from your local church across the globe, your involvement is vital. We have structured three distinct pathways so every believer, group, and congregation can play a key role in 2027.

Pathway 1: Go and Pray (On-the-Ground Action)

Bring a team or come as an individual to physically cover North Macedonia in prayer.

  • Skopje Prayer Room: Anchor continuous intercession in the capital city. Teams will serve shifts in a central prayer room, lifting up local leaders, spiritual breakthrough, and the national church.

  • Village & Regional Prayer Walks: Go out into the surrounding towns and unreached rural villages. Walk, pray, and ask God to soften hearts and open doors for future church planting and outreach.

  • Who It’s For: Church mission teams, youth/young adult groups, prayer leaders, and individual intercessors.

Pathway 2: Stay and Pray (Global Intercession)

Mobilize your church or small group to intercede from anywhere in the world.

  • Designated Church Prayer Days: Set aside specific Sundays, prayer nights, or focus weeks in 2027 to rally your entire congregation around what God is doing in North Macedonia.

  • Targeted Focus on Unreached Groups: Use custom prayer guides to intercede directly for specific, unreached communities—including Albanian, Turkish, Roma, and unreached Macedonian populations.

  • Who It’s For: Lead pastors, mission directors, small group leaders, and home prayer groups.

Pathway 3: Lead and Host (Macedonian Local Churches)

Mobilize your local congregation to lead the charge for spiritual awakening in your city and surrounding villages.

  • Host & Partner with Teams: Serve as an anchor church for incoming global prayer teams (Pathway 1). Guide them to strategic prayer locations, unreached villages, and prayer rooms in your region.

  • Unify Regional Intercession: Coordinate joint prayer gatherings with neighboring churches across denominational and ethnic lines (Macedonian, Roma, Albanian, Turkish believers).

  • Adopt Surrounding Unreached Villages: Mobilize your own congregation for regular prayer walks, outreach, and long-term disciple-making in neighboring unreached areas.

  • Who It’s For: Senior pastors, church elders, local evangelists, and ministry leaders across Macedonia.
